Comments: He only was only in Vietnam for 54 days when they came in conflict with the Vietcong for the first time. He was an ammunition bearer so I am so glad he didn’t have to kill anyone even though it would have been justified. Knowing Bob, he was the kind of person who would have given the shirt off his back and had a such a big heart for everyone and it would have destroyed him as so many of our military have to face.
