SkyRun Vacation Story from
The Cox Family

Full Disclosure, I'm Barry Cox, CEO of SkyRun Vacation Rentals. My family owns a property in Keystone, but it was rented which is :) and :( so we rented this home in Breck using the $'s we got for own own rental (win win!) Of course I'm not eligible for the free week prize for story, but Iwanted to tell you about the great Spring Break my family had in our Breckenridge Location last March.

We really loved this property. It's a bit of a haul up 3 stories, but the views from the property are much more than worth it. There's a little tower at the top of a spiral staircase where my 15 yr old daughter set up camp. It had it's own TV up there and a 270 degree view of the surrounding mountains.

We cooked in every meal and enjoyed many family games around the dinning room table. The TV that rises up out of the furniture in the Living Room was a big hit.

Every morning, we awoke to new snow and could see the entire mountain. After eating breakfast my wife drove us to the gondola since it only takes a minute to get there and she doesn't ski, although we could have easily walked the 5-7 blocks. We saved the walking for when we came home at lunchtime. You ski down the 4 O'Clock run, then it's only 4 blocks straight ahead to get back. Worth coming home for lunch. After lunch, I sat in the hot tub with an adult beverage and my 20 yr old son went out for more. My son had some friends up from Boulder one day and we all enjoyed eating and playing cards late into the night.

You're right downtown, so it was easy to walk around and shop and dine (even though we dined in). We tried out the local movie theater one night which is in the basement of an old school downtown. It was a hoot. Mostly locals.

Repeat for 5 days, and you have a great family vacation.
